two late goals against a full West Ham squad in Tony

A
strong Fulham side came to the London Borough of Barking
and Dagenham Stadium for the Daggers' second pre-season
match.
The Daggers fought well against their
Premiership opponents with Dave Rainford (left) and
Jon Nurse going close for the home side in the first
half. However, the visitors took the lead in the 44th
minute when a Simon Davis through ball found Diomansky
Kamara in the area who made no mistake to put Fulham
in front.
After the interval, both sides made
numerous changes but no more goals were forthcoming.

Tim
Cole (right) bade farewell to the Daggers in his testimonial
match against Southend United.
The hosts took the lead in the 3rd minute
when Jon Nurse diverted a Sam Sloma cross past Darryl
Flahavan.
Ninue minutes later and former Dagger, Matt Harrold levelled
the scores, slotting the ball home after Jack Norton
had parried Kevin Maher's fierce strike.
On 30 minutes, the Daggers again took
the lead when a fine cross from Jon Nurse was converted
by Sam Sloma.
The Daggers pressed hard but were unable
to find another goal and Southend finally levelled the
scores on 81 minutes when Shane Huke was adjuged to
have brought down Alan McCormack and Matt Harrold made
no mistake from the resulting penalty.

In
a preview of the forthcoming Carling Cup match, the
Daggers entertained a Luton Town XI at the London Borough
of Barking & Dagenham Stadium.
The hosts took the lead through Bai
Mas Lettejallow (left) at the start of the second
half when the striker lashed the ball into the far corner
on the half-volley.
With 20 minutes left to go, Luton
got back on level terms when an Ahmet Berkovic volley
clattered off Ryan Charles to send Dave Hogan the wrong
way.

The Daggers made short work of bogey team, Thurrock, defeating
the Blue Square South side 5-1 at Ship Lane.
With Thurrock fielding ex-Daggers Tim
Cole, Lee Flynn, Gary Howard and Kenny Clark and the
Daggers fielding a practically full-strength Conference
winning side, John Still must be happy that his
team ran out such comfortable winners.
The
Daggers piled on the pressure from the start and Strevens
saw a trio of chances go begging before, on 35 minutes,
Glen Southam (right) latched on to a parry by Mann
from a Saunders header to open the scoring.
Five minutes later, Jon Nurse's fine
run down the left culminated with a great cross for
Ben Strevens who made no mistake in lashing the ball
home.
The home side pulled on back straight
away though when Tony Roberts was only able to parry
Wesley Thomas's shot into the path of Damien Yoxall
who tapped the ball home.
With
44 minutes on the clock, Ben Strevens (left) turned
the provider for Jon Nurse when he palyed the ball in
from the right and Nurse slotted the ball into the corner
for 3-1.
Immediately after the break, the Daggers
found themselves 4-1 up when Kenny Clark managed to
put the ball into his own net.
The scoring was completed on 68 minutes
when Hughes brought down John Nurse in the area and
Chris Moore blasted home the resulting penalty.
