Daggers beaten at the death - again!
The Daggers left Broadhall Way with nothing after dominating the second half and looking to be well worth a point at least.

Playing without Danny Foster the lack of depth in the squad was shown up with Ran Marwa forced into right back, Ashley Vickers at left back and Scott Griffiths again in midfield.

Boro had the better of the first period but only took the lead when Ashley Vickers headed bizarrely into his own net from a corner in the 34th minute. Lee Goodwin had been unlucky to only hit the bar with an overhead kick after 20 minutes.

John Still sent on Paul Benson (right) for the second half in place of Vickers, shuffling his team round and they responded by taking the game to Stevenage and deservedly grabbing an equaliser when Paul Benson found Craig Mackail-Smith (below) who slipped the ball in after 72 minutes.

As the game went into injury time Jon Nurse held teh ball up and slipped in George Boyd who's strike deflected off Shane Blackett and deceived Tony Roberts to win the three points for Stevenage. Afterwards even Graham Westley had to admit the Daggers were unlucky not to get something from the game.

The Daggers drop to eleventh after what is a third successive narrow 2-1 defeat.
