Daggers lose at Christie Park
The Daggers lost to a single Michael Twiss goal to nil to Morecambe at Christie Park on Saturday.

Without Chris Moore, who was ill and unable to travel, and the suspended Ashley Vickers they fell behind in the 29th minute. Unusually for the Daggers clashes with the Shrimps this was a fairly tame game with a few chances either way but the one strike was enough to see the home side take the points.

Jack Midson (right) made a return from loan at Hemel Hempstead coming on as a second half substitute and Steve Vaughan also got 25 minutes on for Lee Goodwin. It looks like John Still may be now admitting that the play offs are gone and looking to blood a few in coming weeks.

Once again Anwar Uddin was magnificent throughout, while Scott Griffiths (left), who has been subject to a lot of speculation this week after news emerged that a number of Championship sides are watching him, came in for a backlash from the Manager after the game after having his poorest match since breaking into the side.

The result sees the Daggers drop to 13th place with the play offs still only six points away but a number of teams now starting to stretch away.
