Glen is a 24 year-old midfielder signed in May 2004 from Bishops
Stortford where he was a firm fans favourite with the Blues fans. He
has been described as the best player they have ever had and, certainly,
his record does speak for itself.
Glen signed for the Blues in Summer 2000 having previously played for
Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and Enfield. He was awarded the Supporters
Club Player Of The Season in 2001 before a period of injury led to a spell
on loan at Boreham Wood. In 2002/03, he picked up both the Player's Player
Trophy and Supporters Club Player Of The Season Award. In 2003/04, Glen
scored over 30 goals in all competitions.
Since joining the Daggers Glen was selected by Paul Fairclough for the
England National Game XI for the home internationals and a game in the
USA> He has quickly made an impact for the Daggers in early season and
looks an excellent signing.
