Vickers Off As Daggers Win Again
The Daggers today continued their excellent start to the 2004/05 Nationwide Conference season, beating Burton Albion 3-1 at Eton Park.

Despite the dismissal of Ashley Vickers in the second half for a second bookable offence, John Still must be happy with the 100% start to the campaign.

The visitors took the lead early on when John Taylor (left) opened his account for the Daggers, slotting home from a Chris Moore cross.

Only a couple of minutes later, and Taylor almost made it two when he headed just wide from a Lee Flynn cross.

In the 54th minute, the Daggers did double their advantage though when Mark Janney volleyed home his second of the season.

Seven minutes later and the hosts clawed a goal back when Brewers' boss, Nigel Clough, scored from close range.

In the 76th minute, though, the Daggers made sure of the points when Craig Mackail-Smith (right) was set-up by Chris Moore and struck the ball home from considerable range.

Only a minute after the goal, Vickers was shown his second yellow card and he will now miss Saturday's match against Woking.

The win sees the Daggers move two points clear at the top of the Conference.
