Daggers Too Strong For Forest

The Daggers tonight overcame the challenge of Waltham Forest, winning 2-0 at Wadham Lodge.

The visitors almost took the lead in the first minute when trialist, Solomon Henry struck the crossbar.  Paul Hakim also hit the woodwork in the 12th minute.

On 28 minutes, Matthew Judge shot from long range, only to see his effort well saved.

A minute before the interval, Paul Hakim (right) finally got the breakthrough for the Daggers, giving the visitors a deserved half time lead.

On 67 minutes, Abiodun Baruwa saved well to keep the Daggers in front.

With 11 minutes remaining, Glen Southam (left) burst into the box and his run was ended when a Waltham Forest defender handled the ball.  From the resulting penalty, Matthew Judge put the Daggers 2-0 up.
