Experimental Daggers Lose At Great Wakering
by Nelson on 27/07/2004

An Experimental Daggers side full of triallists and second string players lose 2-3 at Great Wakering.

Experimental Daggers Lose At Great Wakering

The Daggers, fielding another experimental side tonight lost 3-2 at Borroughs Park against Great Wakering Rovers.

The hosts took the lead in the 5th minute through Heale and had chances to extend their lead before Paul Hakim (right) pulled the Daggers back level a minute before the interval.

In the 61st minute, Rovers took the lead again through Beakin and, following a mistake from Fabio De-Francesco,  moved 3-1 in front, again through Heale.

With around a quarter of an hour to go, Nathan Daly pulled a goal back to make the final score 3-2 in a display that will not have impressed John Still with regard to any of the triallists.

Dagenham & Redbridge : Nick Bussey, Bazi Pierre (Adam Connelley 55 mins), Andrew Burke (Scott Griffiths 65 mins), Tom McGowen, Fabio De-Francesco, Yomi Dada, Howard Newton, Tony Perfect, Nathan Daly, Paul Hakim (Marcel Collington 55 mins), Charlie Bull.
