Another Outing For Abiodun

Thurrock Curse Strikes Again
by Nelson on 26/07/2004

The Daggers unsurprisingly lose their unbeaten record, losing 3-2 at Thurrock.

Thurrock Curse Strikes Again
The Daggers today saw their unbeaten start to the 2004/05 pre-season campaign come to an end at Ship Lane, home of (you guessed it), Thurrock.

A very much experimental Daggers side started well with Craig Mackail-Smith (right) opening the scoring for the visitors in the 15th minute, latching on to Jack Midson's (below) through ball.

With 27 minutes on the clock, Kris Lee levelled the scores with a header and only four minutes later, the hosts took the lead.

Two minutes before the interval, Ben Sedgemore levelled for the Daggers.

With only nine minutes of the match remaining, Simon Martin scores the winner for the hosts.

Dagenham & Redbridge : Abiodun Baruwa, Ron Henry (Matthew Judge), Mark Green, Shane Blackett, Grant Cooper, Ben Sedgemore (Charlie Bull), Craig Mackail-Smith (Paul Hakim), Tariq Nabil (Adam Connelley), Jack Midson, Tony Boot (Tony Perfect), Boniek Forbes
