Comeback Kings
The Daggers today pulled off an unlikely comeback against Southend United to draw 3-3 having been 3-0 down with only a quarter of an hour remaining..

The hosts found themselves a goal down on 28 minutes when Jim Corbett crossed the ball for former Dagger, Drewe Broughton to slot the ball home beyond Tony Roberts (right).

Ben Sedgemore wasted a good chance five minutes later in the Daggers first attempt on goal.

With eight minutes gone of the second half, Che Wilson crossed from the left to Wayne Gray who made no mistake to double the visitor's advantage.

The Daggers found themselves three goals down on 58 minutes when Gray bagged a brace from Duncan Jupp's free kick.

With 15 minutes remaining, Jack Midson crossed well for Tony Boot (left) who smashed the ball low into the corner of the net to reduce the deficit.

Four minutes later and the Daggers were back in the game thanks to a Lee Goodwin (right) headed goal from Ben Sedgemore's free kick.

With time running out, Tony Boot saw his shot saved by the Southend 'keeper but there was still time for Jake Leberl to grab the equaliser with a deflected volley from the edge of the area.

The draw leaves the Daggers still undefeated in pre-season.
