Daggers Remain Unbeaten

An update on the Daggers last three friendly matches where Tony Boot and Paul Hakim have both netted twice. |

Playing
at Greenwich Borough's Harrow Meadow Stadium, an unfamiliar Daggers side tonight
beat a Fisher Athletic side including three former Daggers.Tony Boot scored
his second goal for the Daggers since joining from Slough Town in the 12th
minute and a minute before half-time, Paul Hakim fired home from Adam
Connelley's cross.
With
53 minutes on the clock, Ben Martin gave away the Daggers' second penalty in as
many matches and former Dagger, Steve Watts (right), sent Nick Bussey the wrong
way to reduce the deficit.

The
Daggers shared the spoils with Coca-Cola Championship side, Gillingham tonight
in a friendly match at The Glyn Hopkin Stadium.
Fielding
a mixed squad, John Still's men took the lead in the 16th minute through John
Taylor (right).
Chris Moore almost doubled the hosts lead in the 20th minute before Iwan Roberts
had a goal tuled out for the visitors in the 26th minute.
With 33 minutes on the clock, Danny Spiller did get the Gills level, latching on
to a Shane Blackett clearance.
A minute into the second half, Tony Roberts saved well from Matthew Jarvis and,
on 66 minutes, Roberts' opposite number, Steve Banks punched clear from Paul
Hakim after good work from Lee Flynn and Tony Boot.
With
71 minutes gone, the Daggers restored their lead when a long ball down the right
from Anwar Uddin was headed on by Paul Hakim into the path of Tony Boot (left
(c) RebelsOnline.co.uk) who made no
mistake to open his account with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.
With 8 minutes remaining, Jack Midson shot just wide.
A minute from time, and the win was snatched from the Daggers when Anwar Uddin
fouled Matty Bodkin in the area and Richard Rose sent Tony Roberts the wrong way
from the spot to level the scores.

The
Daggers came back from 2-0 down to grab a 2-2 draw at Northwood. With the home
side having taken a two goal lead with goals in the 48th and 54th minute two
Daggers subs, Paul Hakin and Chris Moore pulled it back.
Hakin
scored within two minutes of coming on after 67 minutes and Northwood old boy
Chris Moore (right) scored on 84 minutes.
