A team is apparently "invincible" if it is unbeaten into November. This can be embarrassing it it then finishes second, beaten by 14 points and then loses in the play offs (see "Oxford United")

Dagger Spotting - Nou Camp
by Hardy on 27/05/2004

Work can be really tough sometimes!

Dagger Spotting - Nou Camp
Last week I was away with work on a conference in Barcelona and the "gala dinner" took place at the Nou Camp, home of the famous FC Barcelona.
Stadium Tour

The event started with champagne and nibbles in the club museum before a tour behind the scenes, through the trophy room on to the pitch (just the technical areas unfortunately) and then through the away dressing room to the interview rooms before a wonderful dinner in the banqueting suite.

The chairman of the event, a Southampton fan, suggested that we wear football shirts as an ice breaker and I confidently predicted that mine would be the only Daggers shirt. I was right!!

It was a great night and I have put up some pictures here to give a flavour.

Some people got into the spirit

Some period footie gear - can you image Ash armed with these boots?

Model of the stadium (some people didn't get into the spirit)

Champions Cup, 4 UEFA cups, 2 Super Cups and numerous domestic trophies
Just like the Daggers cabinet otherwise.

And yes, it really is that big!

In the tunnel, the Chapel - on the visitors side!!

It's not the Glyn Hopkin Stadium, but it'll do

Catch the atmosphere

"And the Daggers lift the European Cup!"

Barca shirts on display in the dressing room
