Career History

Alex Meechan joined the Daggers from Forest Green Rovers. He signed for Rovers in August 2000 from Bristol City having started his career as a trainee at Swindon and also had a very brief loan at Yeovil Town.

In 107 appearances for Forest Green he scored 36 goals, 33 in 99 Conference games. His strike rate of a goal every three games over his career makes him a potentially great signing. Most will remember him scoring a spectacular goal at Victoria Road in the Daggers 3-1 win in November 2002.
