Career History
A powerful forward with a decent turn of pace, Steve rejoined the Daggers in October 2003 on a free transfer having been released by Shrewsbury Town.

Starting his career with Fisher Athletic in 1998, he was snapped up by Orient by October of that year. Steve had a loan spell with Welling United in 1999 and, in 2002/03 had two separate loan spells at Margate and Lincoln City. In 155 appearances for Orient, Steve netted a total of 35 times.

In February 2003 he was loaned to the Daggers and in 6 appearances scored twice including a vital winner against Chester City. At the end of the loan to a lot of supporters disappointment he returned to Orient and then signed for Shrewsbury Town on transfer deadline day to assist in their unsuccessful fight against relegation.

Out of favour under new manager Jimmy Quinn in 2003/04 and having scored just once in 16 games for the Shrews he was released and signed for the Daggers full time in October 2003.
