The Daggers last night extended their run of league wins to five, with a 2-1
victory over Telford United at the New Bucks Head.
The Daggers line-up included new loan signing, Steve Watts, in place of the

match got off to the perfect start with the Daggers taking the lead with only 26
seconds on the clock. A lovely run from Paul Terry culminated with a
beautifully weighted pass to Danny Shipp (left). Shipp dodged a tackle and
rifled the ball into the net from the edge of the box, silencing the home
Just three minutes later and the Daggers found themselves two goals
up. An accurate cross by John McGrath from the left wing fell to Junior

Daggers were undoubtedly the best side during the first half though, and went
close through McDougald, Shipp and Stein (left) without adding to the scoreline.
The second half still saw the Daggers having the better of the match,
although Telford were able to claim more possession.
Telford's best two chances came from Cameron and Hanmer, but Roberts was
equal to anything that Telford could throw at him and the Daggers back line
prevented many chances from arising.
Paul Terry nearly capped off a wonderful performance with a goal of his own,
but hi deft lob was fractionally over hit and whistled over the bar.
The Daggers now find themselves closing in rapidly on the play-off places and
a win at Nuneaton on Saturday could see them climb the table further.
