The epitome of someone unfit to referee a football match (see also Ives, Woolmer). Yerby caused so much fun at Conference level he can now be seen fouling up Premiership matches for a wider audience.

Career History
Steve started his career in junior football in Essex before being signed by Enfield.

He joined Woking in September 1997 from for 35,000, initially a centre-forward. Steve moved into defence and became the Cards' captain. In 1999/00, Steve claimed all four player of the season awards. A player very much in the mould of Mark Keen, Steve is able to play in several positions and has proved to be an extremely valuable addition to Garry Hill's squad, having moved back into attack and scoring some crucial goals.

Steve was selected for the England Semi-Pro side in 2000/01 and made his debut against Wales.
