Lee joined The Daggers as a midfield player
during the 1998 close season from West Ham United, where he served an
apprenticeship. He suffered a bad injury at Aylesbury, causing him to miss
a large part of that season, however, he returned to the senior side fully
fit to play a major part in the 1999/2000 Ryman League championship
success as a defender and has kept his place ever since, although he has
missed part of this season due to injury.
Lee has gained representative honours,
being selected for the FA XI to face the Ryman League in November 2001, a
long overdue recognition of his abilities. Lee is another defender who
just gets on with the job, and also pops up with some key goals from time
to time.
Lee had injury problems in 2002/03, an
ankle problem picked up against Burton Albion keeping him out for the
heart of the season, limiting him to just 19 appearances. He was back by
the end and looks as solid as ever at right back or centre back.
