Caption Competition Results For December

Here is the result of the Christmas Special December Caption Competition.

As promised, the prize to the winner is one of the Club's splendid new 2002 calendars.

Thank you to everyone who took part.

The runner-up was by Mr.& Mrs. Johnson with

"Lee Matthews heard that successful free-kicks were all about getting the right angle. Here we see Lee demonstrating a right-angle."

Well done guys.

However, the winner was Mark Brown with the sublime

"Daggers' Silhouette champ Lee Matthews demonstrates his award winning the yacht'."

Excellent stuff. Other notable entries included:

Daggy Dagknob's "One more turn and this wooden leg should be tight enough to stay on for the WHOLE match!"
and
Rachel Luby's
"I knew I should have been the star of Billy Elliot!" along with numerous other entries revolving around Lee's supposed wooden leg!

Thanks once again to everyone who took part.

Don't forget to enter January's competition for the chance to win a copy of "The Supporters' Guide To Non-League Football 2002" worth 5.99.
