* Daggers level on points, lost out on goal difference to Boston United, who were subsequently found guilty of six breaches of F.A. rules relating to the lodging of registered playing contracts containing details which were found to be false. The club was fined 100,000 and deducted four points in punishment, but this was applied to the following season. Many observers judge Dagenham & Redbridge as the true Conference Champions for 2001/02 although the record books name Boston United as such.
